Mothers of the Atlas (Mobile Ultrasound Patrol Project-Morocco)

For pregnant women living in remote areas of the developing world, maternal deaths due to birth complications are frequent occurrences due to clinic inaccessibility. Trice Imaging is working with Qualcomm Wireless Reach to fix this. We have collaborated to create the Mobile Ultrasound Patrol Project, a program that provides free ultrasounds to these women and trains locals to administer exams in their own homes or in rural clinics. Follow along in this 360-degree video as a doctor in Morocco visits a mother in the Atlas Mountains, administers her baby’s first ultrasound, and sends the information to a specialist in a nearby city.
